Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, as is her mother is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her working in rehearsals for plays. As a young kid, she made the rounds in commercials of various kinds. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, to further her acting career. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007.
