Despacito is a hit song from Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi together with Daddy Yankee was released in 2017. The song became the number one music streamed at the period within six months. Drake and Bad Bunny worked together for the track MIA MIA (2018) as did Madonna and Maluma on Medellin, Madonna and Maluma worked together on Medellin in the year 2019. In 2020, several Reggaeton stars were dissatisfied with its direction toward the mainstream. In contrast, a young generation Rauw Alejandro was determined to maintain the development. He often used elements of electronic dance music in addition to other styles.
