Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host popular as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was raised within Little Rock. Sheryl has an extended family with numerous issues. She spent the majority of her life looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from polio. When she was a child, she had a difficult relationship with her mother. Sheryl claims that once she cut her father's hair because he got too close. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from the college. But her passion was comedy. She was chosen as the first woman to be a finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. Since 2011 she has been hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series such as Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
